Say You're Real Terms

Last updated: June 19, 2026. These plain beta terms explain the basic rules for using SYR during the beta period. They are beta-ready drafts for founder/legal review before public launch.

SYR is a private-by-default, connected-only beta experience. Share only content you have the right to share and only with people you trust.

Beta Access

Say You're Real is currently in beta. Features, availability, data, account access, and app behavior may change as the product is tested and improved.

Eligibility

SYR is not intended for children under 13. Do not use SYR if you are under 13. By using the beta, you confirm that you can use the app under these terms and any laws that apply to you.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for your account, your sign-in credentials, and activity that happens through your account. Keep your password private. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact support@sayyourereal.com.

Private-By-Default Expectations

The current beta is designed around connected-only visibility for private photo/content surfaces. Do not treat the app as a public broadcast platform. Other users may still see content where the app's connection, profile, comment, message, report, or moderation features allow it.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the photos, captions, comments, replies, messages, profile details, and other content you submit. You give SYR the limited permission needed to host, store, display, transmit, process, moderate, and otherwise operate the app for you and the people who are allowed to see your content under the app's current visibility rules.

Prohibited Conduct And Objectionable Content

You are responsible for what you submit and how you use the app. Do not upload, send, encourage, or use SYR for content or conduct that:

• You do not own or have permission to share.
• Violates another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights.
• Contains illegal content or instructions for illegal conduct.
• Contains sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, or abuse.
• Impersonates another person or misrepresents who you are.
• Harasses, threatens, bullies, stalks, exploits, scams, spams, or intimidates anyone.
• Attempts to bypass blocks, privacy settings, connection boundaries, security controls, or eligibility rules.

No Harassment Or Abuse

Do not use SYR to harass, threaten, bully, stalk, exploit, spam, scam, intimidate, or abuse anyone. Do not attempt to bypass blocks, privacy settings, or connection boundaries.

Report And Block

SYR provides report and block controls where available. Reports may be reviewed for safety, abuse handling, moderation, and support. Blocking may limit private interactions and visibility according to the app's current beta behavior.

SYR's reporting and support tools are not emergency services. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Moderation During Beta

Moderation and enforcement may be manual during beta. SYR may review reports, restrict access, remove content, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or take other steps when needed to operate the service, protect users, respond to abuse, comply with law, or support safety review. We do not promise immediate removal or a specific enforcement result.

Account Deletion And Support

You can initiate account deletion from inside the app and/or through the support process. For account, safety, privacy, or deletion help, contact support@sayyourereal.com. Deletion and retention handling remains subject to final policy and legal review before public launch.

Availability And Beta Provided As-Is

The beta is provided as-is and may contain bugs, interruptions, incomplete features, or changed behavior. We do not guarantee that SYR will always be available, error-free, or unchanged. We may suspend accounts, remove content, restrict access, or change beta features to protect users, comply with law, or operate the service.

Founder And Legal Review

These terms are a substantive beta-ready draft for founder/legal review. They should be reviewed before broad public launch and updated if app features, moderation practices, privacy posture, payments, analytics, advertising, age handling, or store requirements change.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms as the beta changes. Continued use of SYR after updates means you accept the updated terms.
