Public SMS consent evidence

SYR phone verification opt-in

This page documents the consent flow shown to users before they request a one-time SMS verification code in the Say You're Real mobile app.

CEGE Enterprises LLC operates the Say You're Real ("SYR") mobile application and the sayyourereal.com website.

How a user requests a code

  1. The user signs in to the SYR app.
  2. The user opens the phone-verification screen and voluntarily enters a mobile number the user owns or is authorized to use.
  3. The app displays the complete SMS disclosure and links to the Privacy Policy and Terms before the request action.
  4. The user affirmatively taps Send code.
  5. Only then does SYR request a one-time verification code for the submitted number.
  6. The user enters the received code in the app to verify control of the number.

Disclosure shown before Send code

By tapping Send code, you agree to receive a one-time SMS verification code from Say You're Real (SYR). Message frequency varies based on your requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Phone verification is optional, and SYR does not send marketing or promotional text messages.

No SMS is sent before the user taps Send code. The program sends only user-requested transactional verification messages, not recurring, marketing, or promotional text messages. Optional contact discovery is controlled separately in the product and requires a verified phone plus user opt-in.
